Onion uthappam

Ingredients
  1. Dosa batter – 2 cup
  2. Onion (very finely chopped) – 1 nos
  3. Ginger (grated) – 1cm long piece
  4. Black pepper (crushed) – 5 nos
  5. Mustard seeds – 1tsp
  6. Oil – tsp
Method
  1. Heat oil in a pan and splutter mustard seeds.
  2. Add onion, ginger, black pepper and sprinkle some salt.
  3. Fry till raw smell of onion goes.
  4. Add this to the batter and mix well.
  5. Heat a fry pan and grease it with oil.
  6. Pour a ladle full of batter in the pan and spread it into a small circle.
  7. Cover the pan with a lid and cook till one side is done.
  8. Remove the lid, flip it over and cook till both sides are golden brown.
  9. Serve with sambar and coconut chutney.
