Ingredients- Chicken (cut into pieces) – ½ kg
- Onion (thinly sliced) – 2
- Green peas – ¼ cup
- Tomato sauce – 2 tbsp
- Green chillies – 2 no
- Ginger (crushed) – 1 inch long piece
- Garlic (crushed) – 5 pods
- Chilly powder – 1 tsp
- Turmeric powder – ¼ tsp
- Garam masala – 1 tsp
- Curry leaves – a few
- Oil – ¼ cup
- Salt – as required
Method- Marinate chicken with chilly powder, turmeric powder and salt.
- Heat oil in a pan and fry the chicken pieces and keep aside.
- Fry ginger, garlic and green chillies in the fried oil in the pan.
- Add onions, green peas, and garam masala and fry them till onion is brown.
- Add the tomato sauce and fry for a few minutes.
- Add fried chicken pieces and mix well.
- Remove from heat and serve hot.
Ingredients- Chicken - 1 kg
- Onion (finely chopped)- 4 nos
- Tomato (diced) - 3 nos
- Ginger paste - 1 tsp
- Garlic paste - 1 tsp
- Red chilly powder – ½ tbsp
- Coriander powder – 1 ½ tbsp
- Turmeric powder - ¼ tbsp
- Garam masala - ½ tbsp
- Oil – 4 tbsp
- Curry leaves – a few
- Salt - As required
Method- In a pan heat oil and fry onion and curry leaves.
- Stir continuously till onion starts to change its color to brown.
- Make a paste of all the spices by adding a little water.
- Add this paste to the pan and fry till oil starts to separate.
- Add tomatoes and fry till they are tender.
- Add the chicken pieces and ginger garlic paste.
- Cover the pan with a lid.
- Stir occasionally and cook in low flame till chicken is well cooked.
- Remove the lid and cook in medium high till gravy thickens
- Remove from fire and serve hot.
Ingredients- Chicken pieces - 1kg
- Coconut milk -1½ cup
- Onion (thinly sliced) -1 nos
- Green Chillies - 5nos
- Ginger (thinly sliced)- 2 inch piece
- Garlic (crushed) - 3 pods
- Chilly powder - ½ tbsp
- Coriander powder - ½ tbsp
- Turmeric powder - ¼ tbsp
- Garam masala - ½ tbsp
- Curry leaves - a few
- Salt - as required
- Oil - 3 tbsp
Method- Heat oil in a pan and saute onion, green chillies, ginger, garlic and curry leaves till onions are slight brown color.
- Make a paste of all the powders by adding a little water.
- Add this to the pan and saute for 2 to 3 minutes.
- Then add chicken pieces and salt and mix well.
- Cover the pan with a lid.
- Cook in low flame till chicken is well cooked.
- Pour the coconut milk and bring to boil.
- When it beings to thickens remove from flame.

Ingredients - Chicken Legs - 8 nos
- Ginger-garlic paste - 2 tsp
- Chilli powder - 1 tsp
- Turmeric powder - ¼ tsp
- Cumin powder - ¼ tsp
- Garam masala powder -1 tsp
- Yogurt/ curd - 1cup
- Lemon - juice of one
- Salt - to taste
- Oil - 2 tbsp
Method- Make gashes on chicken legs.
- Marinate chicken with all the ingredients except oil.
- Refrigerate overnight.
- Preheat oven to 200C/ 400F.
- Grease a baking tray with oil and place the chicken on it.
- Bake for approximately 25 minutes, then turn the pieces and bake for another 25 minutes.
- Squeeze lemon juice on top.
